Bunraku Review

Interest: 9/10 Acting: 9/10 Storyline: 9/10 Visuals: 9/10 Fights Guns or otherwise: 10/10 Excitement: 9/10 Audio: 9.5/10 Nudity: 5/10 Gore: 8/10 Logic: 8/10 Bunraku is a 2010 action, drama, fantasy film that is fairly star studded, including the likes of Ron Perlman, Woody Harrelson, Josh Hartnett, Demi Moore, Kevin McKidd, and many others. The movie has a run time of two hours and five minutes. It’s set in a dystopian time, but I don’t think on Earth, in our reality. Let’s take a look at this fine film shall we? Interest: This film kept my interest pretty well, and if you’re going to watch it, you’re going to need to have interest in it, as well as paying attention, because if you miss something, you will be going back and trying to figure out what in god’s green Earth is going on. But I think it makes it pretty easy to pay attention, and keep interest in this film. Acting: The acting in the movie ...

The Collector Review

Interest: 5/10 Acting: 6/10 Storyline: 5/10 Traps: 6.5/10 Fights Guns or otherwise: 7/10 Excitement: 6.5/10 Horror: 5/10 Nudity: 6/10 Gore: 10/10 Logic: 5/10 The Collector is a horror thriller movie from 2009. It stars Josh Stewart, William Prael, Diane Ayala Goldner, and Jaun Fernandez, among many others. Run time is one hour and thirty-one minutes. Let’s see how this movie pans out, shall we? Interest: The movie is slow, very very slow at the beginning, almost like a bad drama. It does pick up some, but it just drudges on, even during the horror parts. The pacing makes sense if the whole thing was based underwater, because everything moves at that pace. Acting: The acting in the film is alright at best, Josh Stewart carries this whole movie almost solely in acting. Not to say anyone in particular is bad, but it seems very rigid pretty much all around, almost boring in some parts. And the whole movi...

Clownhouse Review

Interest: 4/10 Acting: 7/10 Storyline: 4/10 Audio: 5/10 Fights Guns or otherwise: 5/10 Excitement: 5/10 Horror: 4/10 Nudity: 1/10 Gore: 5/10 Logic: 6/10 Clownhouse is a 1989 horror film starring Sam Rockwell (he’s the only notable person in the IMDB page I can find, and I don’t know him from anything besides voicing a character in F is for Family.) This also means that I have a movie here that has a cast that has done very little, so presumably the acting isn’t fantastic. The movie run time is one hour and twenty-one minutes. Well let’s dive into this bad boy, shall we? Interest: The speed at which this film goes is very slow. Now it does ramp up slowly, but then slows back down, it never really picks up pace. It makes it hard to not just travel off in your own world, because mostly this is a PG-13 movie at best and a G one at worst that is trying to do horror, even though it is rated R. I have to assume it is because of all the language in the film that causes it...

3 Doors From Paradise Review

Interest: 7/10 Acting: 7/10 Storyline: 9/10 Audio: 6.5/10 Fights Guns or otherwise: 7/10 Excitement: 6/10 Intensity: 8/10 Nudity: 0/10 Drugs: 9/10 Logic: 7/10 Joe LoBianco reached out to me to see if I wanted to review his newest film, called “3 Doors From Paradise”. It isn’t out yet, but it is a drama film, with a cast that is mostly new to the film world (Only one or two films under their belts). The run time is an hour and twenty-five minutes. Let’s get into the thick of it shall we? Interest: This movie, I will be up front, is out of my range of movies I would typically watch. That being said it is interesting, because it takes a look at life being different mentally, and being out in the world kind of on your own. It seems pretty much par for the course as how things happen though, but they’re trying to remind people of the bad that is out their, even though humanity is supposed to be good. Acti...
